Weber Grills Again
As our BFF Paris says, "It's Hot!." Actually, she says "That's hot", but who cares. It was "The Griller", Mark Weber, who held the hot hand as his fleet of hulls scorched the competition.
(...short pause whilst I consult my Thesaurus...)
Weber's new hull, Hallmark Homes II, blazed through the preliminary heats, scoring a torrid 1200 points. The Hallmark II then put on a sizzling battle with his own Miss Budweiser and the Hallmark Homes, owned by the fiery Steve Mallard. All five hulls that qualified for the final heat were Weber-built hulls.
Sweltering commissioner Hank Kosciuszko applauded the effort.
This was also a race known for the dragging cowl-like rudder, as several hulls. See the race photos for a visual.
Nothing like a Casper race in Detroit, with hot babes, hot guys, cold beers and the best racing you'll... well, OK. It was HOT!
