Bardahl and Weber Win. Series Has New High-Point Leader
 I
think Lori Weber stated it best when she said, "I think he spent over $50
on that boat!" I believe the response was, as any boat racer would tell
you, "It was actually well over $100 and it was well worth it."
Mark
Weber, of Team USA - Casper, dominated the first annual Racer Bob Challenge
Cup, the secondrace of a Casper-Prop double-header held on beautiful Lake Kosciuszko,
with his Green-Dragon Miss Bardahl. The sponsor of the race, of course, is  "Racer
Bob" Dabrowski, of 2.5 Litre Mod. Inboard fame.
The
series also has a new high-point leader, with Scott Dunn's Mariner Too taking
a small lead over Mike Millenbach's Checkerboard Bardahl with (we think) one
more race left on the schedule.
Things
I CLEARLY remember from the race...
- New bribes...er...sponsors
were also introduced to the sport with the addition of the Smirnoff.
- Racer Bob,
as race sponsor, generously offered to pay the travel expenses for race
officials.
- The Harrah's
Club being completely under water as it finished the first heat.
- The Miss Spokane
bolting out of the starting gate to win the Consolation Race.
- Both the winners
of the Consolation and Final of the first race (Frostbite) finished last
in the second race.
